This policy explains how Simple Screens, a division of Caruso Consulting Co Ltd, handles personal data when you visit simplescreen.irish, contact us or place an order.

What we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect your name, contact details, delivery and billing address, order details, support correspondence, device and browser information, cookie choices and payment status. Payment providers process full card or account credentials; we do not store full card details.

Why we use it

We use personal data where needed to perform a contract or take requested pre-contract steps, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate interests such as fraud prevention and site security, or act on consent where consent is the appropriate legal basis. This includes providing quotations, processing and delivering orders, taking payment, providing support, maintaining business and tax records, and sending marketing only where permitted or requested.

Who receives it

We disclose only what is reasonably needed to service providers involved in hosting, payment, order storage, email, support and delivery, and when disclosure is required by law. We do not sell personal data.

Protection, retention and overseas processing

We use appropriate technical and organisational safeguards and keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the stated business or legal purpose. Some service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we use an applicable lawful transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards under Chapter V of the GDPR.

Your choices and requests

Subject to the GDPR and applicable exceptions, you may ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of personal data, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing depends on consent. You may also object at any time to direct marketing.
